On February 3, 2025, at 15:44, a group of 9 prisoners of the correctional institution No. 3\/2 of the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Punishments of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan, using homemade tools, committed a fatal attack on responsible employees \u2014 guards of the correctional institution, reports by the Public Relations Center of the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Punishments of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan.<\/p>\n

As a result of the attack, three employees, who were performing their official duties, received serious bodily injuries.<\/p>\n

The prisoners did not obey the legal demands of the administration of the institution, using homemade sharp and stabbing iron knives, continued their criminal actions without filing complaints and conditions, tried to kill the soldiers guarding the institution and escape.<\/p>\n

The guards acted in accordance with the law and service instructions and were forced to use firearms against the criminals. As a result, three criminals were neutralized, the rest were detained.<\/p>\n

Those who were injured received timely medical care. Their health condition is assessed as normal.<\/p>\n
