Today, the founder of peace and national unity — the leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sent a cable of condolence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyid Ibrahim Raisi, which reads:

«Your Excellency,

In connection with the brutal attack on the holy shrine of Shahcharogh in Shiraz, which resulted in the death and injury of civilians, I express my deepest condolences and sympathy to you and the relatives of the deceased.

We strongly condemn this act of terrorism and emphasize the need to continuously strengthen the joint fight against all manifestations of terrorism and extremism.

I ask Allah mercy and forgiveness for the dead and full recovery for all the injured.»
