The clash between Taliban and Pakistani border police
Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman of Taliban’s government, said that Pakistani forces clashed with Taliban fighters in Dand Wa Patan district of Paktia province.
Mr. Karimi added that the tensions took place in border area of Dand Wa Patan district.
The news comes as the Pakistan Army announced that terrorists attacked on Pakistani soldiers, while Taliban said that Pakistani soldiers opened fire at first.
Karimi added that according to the regulations, military bases must not be formed on the border, but the Pakistani border police wanted to set up a base there.
Mr. Karimi added that a number of Taliban fighters had gone to talk to them, but Pakistani soldiers opened fire on them.
He added that the Taliban fighters opened fire back, and Pakistani soldiers may have suffered casualties.
It is mentionable that it is the third clash in past one year between Taliban and Pakistani border forces.
Few hours ago the Pakistan Army announced that three Pakistani soldiers killed on the border fighting against “terrorists.”
