The President of the Republic of Tajikistan to visit Astana

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, will visit the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 27. Abdufattoh Sharifzoda, press secretary of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, informed Mirsaid Sattoriyon, correspondent of «Voice of Tajikistan» radio station.

According to the source, the Head of State will participate in the meeting of the heads of states of the European Union and Central Asia in  Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

The President of the country Emomali Rahmon arrives in Astana on Thursday morning and will stay there for only one day, — reported the head of the press service of the President.

On this trip, the Head of the country to be accompanied by Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zavki Zavqizoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade, and Azamsho Sharifi, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Foreign Relations.

In addition to the heads of Central Asian countries, the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, will also participate in this meeting. In early October, Charles Michel announced that he would visit Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, he will visite Astana on October 26-27 and participate in the meeting of the leaders of the European Union and Central Asia.
