Participation in the Connectivity Conference of the European Union and Central Asia
On November 18, 2022, the first Connectivity Conference of the European Union and Central Asia: “Global Gateway” for Sustainable Development was held in the city of Samarkand, which was attended by a delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
During the meeting, issues related to sustainable connectivity, creating opportunities for expanding and strengthening interregional ties in the areas of digitalization, strengthening transport routes, water-energy and environmental protection were discussed.
In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan expressed the country’s vision regarding the development of multilateral cooperation and sustainable development within the framework of this mechanism.
