Meeting at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan
On December 7, 2022, a joint meeting of Ambassadors of Tajikistan Mirzosharif Jalolov and the Kingdom of the Netherlands Peter van der Vlist with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure,Transport and Tourism of Japan, Mr. Furukawa Yasushi was held .
At the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and the Netherlands on co-chairing the UN Water Conference to be held on March 22-24, 2023 in New York, as well as ensuring the participation of a high-level delegation from Japan at this conference.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan also informed about water problems and international initiatives of our country in the field of water, prevention of climate change and glaciers preservation, calling international cooperation necessary to solve water-related problems.
