Meeting with the Under-Secretary-General for policy
Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations (UN) Jonibek Hikmat met with the Under-Secretary-General for policy Mr. Guy Ryder.
During the meeting, parties exchanged views on the results of the UN Water Conference, where Tajikistan acted as the co-host, and on the importance of including water in global processes, including «Our Common Agenda» proposed by the UN Secretary-General.
The parties also discussed the strengthening of cooperation to mainstream water as cross-sectorial issue in the UN policy briefs.
