Uzbekistan hosts International Partnership Initiatives Week
Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosts the International Partnership Initiatives Week “New Uzbekistan: Development, Innovation and Enlightenment”. The event is taking place from 3 to 7 July.
The event aims to discuss among foreign and domestic experts and analysts democratic reforms in New Uzbekistan, their meaning, achievements, and immediate urgent objectives, as well as the emerging completely new socio-economic, political, legal, spiritual, and educational space and environment in the country. The priorities of the country’s foreign and domestic policy consist of exchanging ideas about these objectives.
Within the framework of the week, forums dedicated to issues such as “The cultural and scientific heritage of Uzbekistan as the foundation of a new Renaissance” and “Innovative knowledge-based economy and the development of digital technologies”, which are the drivers of Uzbekistan’s sustainable development, are organized in the newly founded Event Hall.
Different platforms are organized for dialogues on several issues, such as the development of human capital and the reform of the education system, the construction of a welfare state, the new experience of Uzbekistan in the green development and processes in the world, and a favorable business and innovation environment emerging in the country.
More than 450 foreign political and public figures, representatives of big business, and experts from more than 60 countries are participating in them. The week features well-known foreign moderators, such as Lord Wharton, a Member of the House of Lords at the British Parliament, Ben Aris, former Minister of Culture and International Development, Stephen Cole, International Journalist and Editor-in-Chief for the international publication Business New Europe, and TV Presenter and Journalist Ali Aslan.

During the week, research and analytical centers, the business community, ministries, agencies, and more than 300 foreign partners organize more than 50 conferences, roundtable discussions, and practical dialogs. The event is expected to result in signing agreements aimed at further strengthening mutually beneficial relations with foreign and international partners and reaching several agreements on the effective implementation of joint projects.
