The attraction of foreign investments to the banking system of Tajikistan has increased by 66.8 percent
In 2023, the inflation rate of the National Bank of Tajikistan is at the lower limit of the target indicator and made 3.8 percent, which is 0.4 percent less than the previous year, said the head of the National Bank of Tajikistan Tolibzoda Firdavs at a press conference.
With the aim of attracting more foreign capital, the National Bank of Tajikistan cooperates with such international financial organizations as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the Eurasian Bank, the Interstate Bank of the Union for Financial Access, international funds and structures of the banks of foreign countries have established beneficial cooperation. In this regard, in 2023, 2204.6 million US dollars of loans, direct investments and portfolios were attracted to the banking system of the country, which is 66.8 percent more than the previous year.
