International Nowruz was celebrated at the Tajikistan Embassy in the Swiss Confederatio

On the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Swiss Confederation, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Department and other international organizations, the Nowruz holiday was celebrated in Geneva with the participation of compatriots of the country of residence.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Swiss Confederation, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda opened the event with a congratulatory speech and spoke about the history, tradition and importance of Nowruz as an ancestral holiday.

During the conference, the participants were presented with a national table, a corner of folk crafts and New Year’s symbols — «Haft sin» and «Haft shin».
