The Tajik delegation met with representatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Bonn

Tajik delegation led by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ahliddin Nuriddizoda met with representatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Bonn.

The head of the Tajik delegation expressed his gratitude for the financing of the «Value-added chain financing program in the field of agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan» and the continuous support of the German government.

It was said that as a result of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the development of the national economy was ensured in 2023, and its real growth was equal to 8.3 percent. It was emphasized that agriculture is the most important sector of Tajikistan’s economy, providing the population with food products and the industry with raw materials. In 2023, the share of agriculture in the structure of the total domestic product equaled 24.3 percent.
