A delegation of female heads of structural units of the Republic of Uzbekistan arrived in Tajikistan
On April 18, a meeting of women leaders of the structural units of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be held in Dushanbe as part of the discussion of the issue of «Supporting gender equality as a goal of sustainable development». The Committee for Work with Women and Family under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.
For this purpose, within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today a delegation of female heads of structural units of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the leadership of the Senate Committee on Women’s Issues and Gender Equality of the Senate of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gulnora Marufova to participate in political and cultural events and hold a meeting with Tajik women.
The guests were welcomed at the Dushanbe International Airport by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, the Chairman of the Women and Family Committee, Bunafsha Fayziddinzoda, and the Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namadyony of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Social Issues, Family and Health Protection, Sumangul Taghoizoda.
