Qatar Cultural Days in Dushanbe will begin on Wednesday
According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Cultural Days of the State of Qatar will be held in Dushanbe on October 16. The opening of the events will begin at 18:00 in the building of the “Sadriddin Aini” Opera and Ballet Theater and continue until October 18.
On this day, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Matlubakhon Satoryan, will meet with the Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, at the National Library of Tajikistan, where the meeting will discuss strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Cultural events will continue daily from 17:30 to 22:00, including traditional Qatari art and heritage performances, screening of films by the Doha Film Institute, a concert by 
the famous Qatari singer Mansour Al-Mohannadi, national cuisine shows, henna painting, and the establishment of a guest reception tent.
On the sidelines of these days, the delegation of guests of the State of Qatar, consisting of about a hundred people, visits some beautiful places and sites in Tajikistan, such as the «Nark» hydroelectric power station, «Independence» Square, Imam Abu Hanifa al-Nu’man ibn Thabit Mosque in Dushanbe, «Dunya Ash» service center and the city of Tursunzade. It is worth noting that these events are the first of their kind and coincide with the thirtieth anniversary of establishing bilateral relations and diplomatic cooperation between the two friendly countries.
