The Head of state Emomali Rahmon attends ceremony to launch the activity of poultry farm in Bobojon Ghafurov district
On March 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, opened the poultry farm of the agro-industrial complex of Sakhovat LLC in Bobojon Ghafurov district.
The poultry farm of LLC Sakhovat was established by entrepreneur Halimboy Karimov in order to contribute to ensuring the country’s food security and to adequately welcome the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The capacity of this enterprise is to breed 80 thousand laying hens, and 65 thousand eggs are produced per day.
The production capacity of this enterprise is stable, and it is planned to start breeding 130 thousand laying hens in the future, and to obtain 110 thousand eggs per day.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the initiative of the entrepreneur to establish a poultry farm and instructed the officials to make extensive use of existing production opportunities for the further development of the sector and to properly and purposefully implement all stages of poultry farming in production.
The area of the poultry farm of LLC Sakhovat is one hectare of land, where 3 chicken coops and 1 chicken farm are operating. The employees of the enterprise give preference to breeding high-quality chickens, taking into account their adaptability to the local climate and various diseases.
In addition, a poultry feed production plant is also operating on the territory of the factory, which is engaged in the processing of raw materials.
25 local residents are provided with jobs and good salaries at the poultry farm of LLC Sakhovat.
As part of the work to green the environment, greenhouses have been established on a certain area within the agro-industrial complex, where seasonal flower cultivation is widely practiced. They provide employment to 15 people, mostly women.
While reviewing the production process, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon recommended that the greenhouse area be used extensively not only for floriculture, but also for growing other types of products.
