Participation at the Arria-Formula Meeting of the Security Council
On August 31, 2022, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Mr. Jonibek Hikmat addressed the Arria-Formula Meeting of the Security Council on “Threats to International Peace and Security caused by Transnational Activities of Terrorist Groups”.
In his statement, the Permanent Representative informed the participants on the efforts of Tajikistan in the field of preventing and countering security threats and challenges.
In addition, The Permanent Representative called on the participants of the event to take part in the High-Level Conference on «International and Regional Border Security and Management Cooperation to Counter Terrorism and Prevent the Movement of Terrorists» (October 18-19, 2022 in Dushanbe).
