Tajik rescuers pulled out 31 bodies of rubble in Kahramanmarash in a day

A rescue team of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan over the past day during an 18-hour search and rescue operation discovered and removed 31 bodies from the rubble in the center of Kahramanmarash.
Since the beginning of rescue operations, Tajik rescuers have managed to retrieve 109 bodies of the rubble.
“The rescue team works in very difficult conditions with special equipment and manually. With the help of special equipment, the Committee’s employees find, extract the living, stuck under concrete piles, and remove the bodies of the dead. In addition, Tajik specialists provide first aid,” the source said.
In two days, rescuers from Tajikistan managed to do the impossible — 6-7 days after the earthquake, when everyone had already lost hope, to find and extract three survivors, two of whom are children.
