Kabul News TV’ceases its broadcast in Afghanistan
Sources say that Kabul News TV has ceased its broadcast due to increasing pressure.
Abdul Karim Khoram, former president, Hamid Karzai’s Chief of Staff, has established the TV channel, and the office of Karzai was responsible for its financial issues.
Additionally, a source said that after Taliban’s domination the TV channel faced lots of ups and downs, and finally today closed officially.
Around 60 staff have lost their jobs after the closure of Kabul News TV.
According to the statistics 48% of media outlets have ceased their operation after Taliban’s domination due to different hardships.
