Tajik Representative Attends the Central Asian Security and Cooperation Forum
Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of Tajikistan Khayriddin Usmonzoda took part in the opening ceremony of the Central Asian Security and Cooperation Forum entitled “Asia in a Changing World: Agenda for the Future” in Kazakhstan.
The event is a new form of dialogue and cooperation between famous scientists and experts from the intellectual centers of the world.
The participants stressed that international security has entered a new stage of uncertainty. The norms that were set in the twentieth century have changed under the pressure of new activists. The growth of ideological contradictions in societies has caused a high degree of distrust both within countries and at the international level.
Along with this, it was noted that the growth of terrorist attacks, asymmetric threats, climate change, demographic imbalances, increasing levels of inequality and changing the nature of public administration are changing the outlook for the future of global cooperation.
It was stated that under these conditions, the further role of international institutions as leading international processes requires new thinking and worldview. Today, it is more important than ever to find a new form of global partnership and multilateral cooperation. In a rapidly changing geopolitical environment, the main task of the world community and leaders of countries is the ability to create means to solve problems and find common prerequisites for overcoming crises.
